About the program
The Global Excellence Scholarship is offered by The University of Western Australia to high-achieving international students from around the world. It provides an annual tuition fee discount for the normal full-time duration of your chosen course. The scholarship value varies based on your academic achievements, specifically your equivalent Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) for undergraduate students or your UWA weighted average mark (WAM) for postgraduate students.
Eligibility criteria
- Have received an offer for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate course at The University of Western Australia for 2026
- Achieve an equivalent minimum ATAR of 85.00 or a minimum WAM of 65.00
- If you are studying an approved International Academic Pathway (Articulation Program), you must have achieved a WAM equivalent of more than 75.00
