About the program
The Scholarship was established in 2020 and is funded by Mark Barrow, Dean of the Faculty of Education and Social Work from 2018 to 2024. The intention of the Scholarship is to support a student to undertake a master’s thesis or research portfolio in the Faculty of Arts and Education at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland that aims to make a positive contribution towards addressing an issue or issues related to social or educational inequality.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be enrolled or intending to enrolled in a master’s thesis or research portfolio in the Faculty of Arts and Education
- Conduct research that addresses social or educational inequality
- Be a domestic or international student
- Demonstrate academic merit and research potential
- Meet all University of Auckland postgraduate entry requirements
