About this program

Miami University is pleased to offer the Presidential Fellows Program, an elite scholarship opportunity which will provide the brightest and best scholars (domestic and international) and leaders of the 21st century with an unprecedented and exceptional college experience.

Miami University Fellowship Program is an excellent opportunity for international students to study in the USA for free. There are no restrictions on nationality, religion or ethnicity. Eligible students from all countries can apply for the presidential fellows’ program to study at Miami University in the USA.

Eligibility

• International students from all countries can apply.
• A 4-year long scholarship that will cover tuition fees for the undergraduate program.
• US citizens can also apply.
• Applicants must be first-year bachelor’s program applicants.
• Furthermore, applicants must possess a strong academic history.
• Students must have leadership potential.
• They must apply through the common application first and then for the Honors program.
• Moreover, students must meet all the requirements and criteria of the selected course.
• Applicants must maintain a 3.50 CGPA each year to continue the scholarship.

Selection Process

Finalists will be reviewed based on their overall admission application, and an invitation-only finalist interview with the scholarship selection committee. 

Application Process 

To be considered, apply to Miami University via the Common Application by 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 1, making sure to indicate your interest for Miami's Honors College. PFP finalists will be notified in January.

3. Sign into the account.
4. Fill up the required fields.
5. Provide all the supporting documents.
6. Complete the application form carefully and submit it.

Application Period

The applications deadline is on 1 December 2023.

Application requirement 

• High-school transcripts.
• Portfolio or concept documents.
• ACT or SAT scores (optional).
• One recommendation letter from an academic teacher or school counsellor.
• Confirmation of interest in the Miami Honors program.
