About the program

Stevens Institute of Technology is pleased to offer the Provost Doctoral Fellowship, established during the 2017-2018 academic year. This fellowship will be offered to those who have performed extremely well in their academic and professional pursuits and are among the top 1 percent of applicants. The fellowship will include academic year support of a full tuition scholarship as well as stipend support to cover living expenses.

Eligibility criteria

• Must be admitted to a full‑time doctoral (PhD) program at SIT
• Demonstrate outstanding academic and/or professional achievements
• Must satisfy English proficiency (TOEFL ≥ 74, IELTS ≥ 6.0, or Duolingo ≥ 110) 

Required documents

• Online application + $60 application fee
• Official transcripts
• GRE or GMAT scores 
• TOEFL/IELTS/Duolingo scores 
• Statement of Purpose, CV/resume, writing/research sample, and 2–3 letters of recommendation
