About this Scholarship
Royal University of Phnom Penh has a great pleasure to announce the call for application of the 2024 Japanese Government Scholarship (MEXT) at Chuo University, Japan in September 2024. Chuo University is looking forward to recruit full-time non-degree students and full-time non-degree research students who wish to pursue their graduate studies in Japan.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicant must:
Be a Cambodian national who was born after April 2nd 1989
Have successfully completed undergraduate program at RUPP
Possess a 2.30 of 3.00 CGPA (Japanese Standard GPA Calculation)
Possess sufficient language proficiency of B2 or higher (English) and/or N2 or higher (Japanese)
Have a good conduct and healthy physically and mentally
Must not be MEXT scholarship recipient in the past or currently serving in military
Benefit
Recipient is exempted from paying tuition fee at Chuo University and air travels and stipend of 143,000 Japanese Yen per month.

Application Period
To be nominated by the university, applicants are advised to submit all the aforementioned documents to the International Relation Office. Documents submission will last until Monday, December 11th 2023.
