About the program

The ASEAN‑India Fellowship for Higher Education in Agriculture and Allied Sciences, launched on 14 August 2024, is aimed at supporting Master’s degree studies for students from ASEAN member countries. The fellowship focuses on new and emerging areas of agriculture and allied sciences, promoting collaborative research and strengthening academic ties between India and ASEAN nations. 

Eligibility criteria

• Must be a citizen of an ASEAN member country.
• Applying for a Master’s programme in agriculture or allied sciences at an Indian university.
• Additional criteria (such as prior academic performance, prerequisites) are detailed in the official fellowship brochure.
• Candidates are expected to have a relevant Bachelor's degree and meet university admission standards.

• Academic transcripts (Bachelor’s degree)
• Degree certificate or provisional certificate
• Proof of citizenship (passport or national ID)
• CV/Resume
• Statement of Purpose 
• Letters of recommendation
• Medical certificate
• English proficiency test scores (e.g., IELTS/TOEFL, if applicable)
• Passport‑size photographs
