About the program

The Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend Scholarship at Central Queensland University (CQUniversity) is a merit-based scholarship funded by the Australian Government to support domestic and international students undertaking a higher degree by research. It aims to promote a culture of research and training by assisting students with their living expenses, allowing them to focus on their studies and research activities.

Eligibility criteria

• Have an outstanding record of academic achievement and a strong research potential
• Hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
• Meet the English language proficiency requirements of CQUniversity
• Not be receiving income from another source to support your general living costs if that income is greater than 75% of the RTP Stipend rate

Required documents

• Certified copies of all academic transcripts and degree certificates
• A written research proposal or summary
• A comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Proof of English language proficiency (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL)
• A copy of your passport
• Two academic or professional references
