About the Scholarship

Globed will be implemented within the Erasmus+ Framework until the year 2029, which means that students who apply along the next four intakes will have the possibility to opt for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarships as well.

Eligibility

• A bachelor’s degree title on Educational Sciences or in any other relevant field (preferably in Sociology, Social/Cultural Anthropology, Political Sciences, Human Geography and International Relations).
• A minimum grade average of 7/10 or GPA of 2.75/4.
• High English language proficiency to be demonstrated through Secure English Language Test (SELT) result at the required levels.

Benefits

All scholarship holders, regardless of their residence or nationality, will receive 1.400 € per month along the two-years programme. The Erasmus+ scholarship includes subsistence, mobility and installation costs. It also covers the registration at the four universities of the consortium and a worldwide health insurance.

Required document

• Copy of a valid passport.
• An up-to-date Europass CV, presenting the skills and qualifications of the candidates in a clear way.
• Official copies of diplomas and transcripts in the original language as well as English or Spanish translations detailing subjects studied (ECTS or hours), grade per subject and overall grade.
• TOEFL score of at least 90 with a writing score at least 24 in the writing section.
• Cambridge Proficiency Examination Advanced Certificate: at least pass at grade C1 or better.
• IELTS at least 7.0 with a minimum of 6.0 in each element and 7.5 in the writing section.
• A letter of motivation explaining your background and reasons for applying to the programme (maximum one page).
• Recommender details. Students must submit a document with the contact details (full name, position and e-mail) of two faculty members or job supervisors whom GLOBED may contact at the final stage of the selection process. Recommendation letters are not accepted.
• A short essay on a topic proposed by the Academic Board (maximum one page).

Identification

• Scan the main page of your passport to info@globed.eu as soon as it has been renewed.
• Upload your up-to-date Europass CV. (https://europa.eu/europass/en/create-europass-cv) Resumes in other formats won’t be accepted.

Bachelor’s diploma and transcript of records

• Scan the necessary personal and academic documents and attach them to your application, in PDF format (4 MB maximum).
• Upload a copy of your Bachelor’s degree diploma and transcript of records (not the one of your Master’s degree, in case you hold one). You don’t have to legalise them for the selection process.
• If you are in the last year of your Bachelor’s degree, only an updated copy of the transcript of records will suffice.

English Certificate

• Applicants need to submit an official English Certificate equal to C1. It can be TOEFL, Cambridge or IELTS (Academic).

Essay

• All applicants will have to write an essay about a topic proposed by the Academic Board. 
• Typing: Font should be Times New Roman, size 11; spacing for the main text should be 1.5.

Motivation Letter

• For the Motivation Letter, please do not exceed one page in length.
• Typing: Font should be Times New Roman, size 11; spacing for the main text should be 1.5.
