About The Program

The International Academic Scholarship at University of Tulsa is a merit-based award designed to support international undergraduate students pursuing degree studies in the United States. This scholarship is awarded based on academic performance in high school and English language proficiency.

Recipients are selected automatically during the admissions review process, and no separate scholarship application is required.

This scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided students maintain good academic standing.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be an international undergraduate student
Must apply and be admitted to University of Tulsa
Must meet GPA and English language requirements
Selection based on:
- High school GPA
- IELTS / TOEFL scores
- Overall academic performance

Scholarship amounts are based on academic achievement:

GPA 4.0 / IELTS 8.0 / TOEFL 105 → $15,000 per year
GPA 3.75–3.99 / IELTS 7.5 / TOEFL 100 → $12,000 per year
GPA 3.50–3.74 / IELTS 7.0 / TOEFL 90 → $9,000 per year
GPA 3.25–3.49 / IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 79 → $7,000 per year
GPA 3.00–3.24 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 70 → $6,000 per year
Renewable for up to 4 years
Partial tuition reduction award
