About the Program
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarships to international students who wish to study at Japanese national universities as Undergraduate Students under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program as follows.

Eligibility
- Be a citizen of Cambodia
- Born on or after April 2, 2001
- Have completed 12 years of schooling for undergraduate's course or have Bachelor's degree for Master’s course or Master’s degree for Doctoral course
- At least 70% of cumulative grade point average or GPA≥ 2.8/4 (average from first year to final year) in the last university or graduate school attended
- Willing to learn Japanese language
- Be in good health

- Academic transcript for all academic year of university attended
- Field of study and research plan
- Study plan or statement of purpose
- Letter of recommendation
- ID Card or Equivalent (such as Student ID Card, Passport)
- Photographs
- Take written examination
- Certificate of language proficiency
