The Royal Society Wolfson Fellowships will enable UK Universities and Research Institutions to attract talented international researchers to the UK’s scientific community. The Royal Society Wolfson Fellowships aim to attract outstanding international researchers to UK institutions, fostering collaboration and enhancing research excellence in strategically important disciplines. They offer flexible, long-term funding to support recruitment and strengthen the UK's global leadership in cutting-edge scientific research. The fellowships also aim to build and develop international collaborations and networks between UK and international researchers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Talented researchers with a proven track record for high quality scientific research
- Have international recognition in their research field
- The research must be within the Royal Society's remit of natural sciences
- Must be currently based outside the UK and not employed there
- Must have a firm offer of employment from a UK host institution
