About The Program
The UAB International Scholarship is offered to outstanding international undergraduate students enrolling at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). The scholarship supports first-year international students by reducing tuition costs during their undergraduate studies in the United States.
The University of Alabama at Birmingham is a public research university known for strong programs in health sciences, business, engineering, and research opportunities. The scholarship is automatically considered during admission for eligible students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to international first-year undergraduate students
- Applicants must currently live outside the United States
- Must graduate from a secondary/high school outside the US
- Minimum GPA requirement: 3.0/4.0
- Must not have enrolled in post-secondary studies previously
- Must anticipate holding an F-1 student visa
- Cambodian students are eligible
- Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis
