About this scholarship
The Indonesian AID Scholarship (TIAS) is a grant program from the Indonesian Government aims to support the achievement of SDGs targets, especially in the education sector. As a reflection of the spirit of the Asia-Africa Summit, the Indonesian AID scholarship will develop the skills and expertise of future leaders from Indonesia's priority countries. It acts as a soft diplomacy to strengthen cooperation and friendship among partner countries through the development of human resources between countries.

Requirements Document
Diploma and Bachelor’s degree:
- Officially nominated by the Priority Country Government.
- Willing to return and serve in their respective countries for a minimum of 2 (two) years after completing their studies.
- Have citizenship status from a priority country.
- Not registered as an active military personal.
- Have an active passport min. 12 months
- The maximum age is 25 years in July of the current year.
- Fluent use of English. For non-English speaking countries, you must attach a TOEFL ITP certificate min. 477 or IELTS min. 5.5 (allowed to use a prediction test/similar, including ie. englishtest.duolingo.com or others). This requirement does not apply to countries that use English as the language of instruction or majors that use Indonesian as the language of instruction.
- Have a high school graduation certificate.
- Preferably for the person who have certificate of employment in the government sector/equivalent document for those who are already working.
- Attach a letter/document stating good behavior and/or freedom from criminal record from the competent local authority.
- Physically and spiritually healthy. Proven by a health certificate from a doctor.
Master’s degree
- Officially nominated by Priority Country Governments.
- Willing to return and serve in their respective countries for a minimum of 2 (two) years after completing their studies.
- Have citizenship status from a priority country.
- Not registered as an active military personal.
- Have an active passport minimum for 12 months.
- The maximum age is 40 years in July of the current year.
- Preferably for the government employee who have minimum of 2 years work experience.
- Have a certificate of employment in the government sector/equivalent document.
- Fluent use of English. For non-English speaking countries, you must attach a TOEFL ITP certificate min. 477 or IELTS min. 5.5 (it is permissible to use a prediction test/similar, including ie. englishtest.duolingo.com or others. This requirement does not apply to countries that use English as the medium of instruction or majors that use Indonesian as the language of instruction.
- Already Have a bachelor's degree.
- Do not have a previous Master's degree.
- Attach a letter/document stating good behavior and/or freedom from criminal record from the competent local authority.
- Physically and spiritually healthy. Proven by a health certificate from a doctor.
