Duties and Responsibilities

Junior Study Abroad Counselor's responsibilities are to execute the advisory process to students and families to provide guidance regarding the college application process and other methods to support students. In addition, you also may:

• Carefully provide suitable study path to students including major guidance, school option, and study destination that is align-ed with student's preference;
• Provide assistance with the pre-admission process by preparing, guiding, collecting, and proofreading documents;
• Provide assistance with the payment (locally and internationally) for the deposit process;
• Carefully provide guidance and explanation with the additional services and options in support of the study abroad process;
• Facilitate student's study abroad journey with both internal and external team;
• Other tasks assigned by the manager.

Minimum Qualification and Requirement

1. Experience: No experience required. If the applicant has some working experience is preferable.
2. Education: A current university student or fresh graduate in any fields (Bachelor of Education is preferred).
3. Skills/Competencies:
   • Good level of English;
   • Good communication skills;
   • Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel; Microsoft PowerPoint);
   • Problem-solving;
   • Time management skills.
4. Personal Qualities:
   • Flexible and good at initiation;
   • Be willing to learn new skills;
   • Ability to Work Under Pressure; and
   • Good attitude, honest, and high accountability for the tasks.
