About this Program
McCall MacBain Scholarships in Canada are a unique opportunity for students who dream of studying abroad but face financial constraints. The University of Canada offers financial support and community development activities, encouraging scholars from diverse backgrounds to contribute to the mission. The scholarships require students to have faced various challenges in various employment sectors and share visionary ideas about leadership abilities. They expect leaders to serve the public with humility, integrity, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Canadian applicants can receive 20 scholarships, 30 finalist awards of $10,000, and 30 regional awards of $5,000, while international students can receive 10 scholarships, 25 finalist awards of $20,000, and 15 regional awards of $10,000. These scholarships are offered in a multicultural environment with an exceptional quality of life and job opportunities. Montreal is a top-class student destination with over 100 languages spoken and direct flights to over 130 countries. To secure the scholarship, applicants must make a distinction in an interview among other applicants.

Eligible Countries and Participants
To be held eligible for the scholarship, you must meet any of the following criteria:
- You can be a student with Bachelor’s degree, that must be completed by August 2025.
- You might have completed your Bachelor’s degree in the last five years.
- You might have either completed your Bachelor’s degree more than five years ago and you are age 30 or less now.
- Candidates with exceptional character are eligible.
- Candidates with active engagement in community-related matters are eligible.
- Candidates with leadership potential can apply.
- Candidates with entrepreneurial spirit can apply.
- Candidates with good intellectual capability can apply.
- Candidates with solid academics can apply.
