About this Scholarship
The Chinese Government Scholarship-AUN Program (China-AUN Scholarship) is a full Scholarship established by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China for the ASEAN University Network (AUN) to support students, teacher, and scholars form ASEAN nations to study in China and enhance and the academic exchange and mutual understanding between China and ASEAN countries.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this Scholarship, candidate:
- Candidates must be citizens of 10 ASEAN Member States and be in good health.
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent under the age of 35 when applying for a master’s program.
- Candidates must hold a master's degree or its equivalent under the age of 40 when applying for a doctoral program.
- Candidates have passed the HSK (Level 4) when applying for an English-taught postgraduate program.
- Candidates have acquired IELTS or TOEFL when applying for chinese-taught postgraduate program.
- Candidates meet the admission requirements of the university in terms of proficiency and academic ability.

- Stipend:
- Master’s Students: 3000 per month.
- Doctoral Students: 3500 per month.
- Comprehensive medical Insurance:
- CNY 800 per person year.
- CNY 400 per person (for program lasting less than six months)
How to apply
- Completing the online application procedure at the Chinese Government Scholarship Information Management System.
- And submit all softcopy documents through the online.
Required Documents
- Application form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in online).
- A scanned copy of the passport information page.
- Non-criminal record report.
- Diploma and certificate of highest education (notarized photocopy).
- Academic transcripts
- Admission letter (if applicable).
- Physical Examination Form.
- Recommendation letters.
- A Study Plan or Research Proposal.
- Valid IELTS or TOEFL (for English taught master’s or doctoral programs).
- Valid HSK Certificate (for Chinses taught master’s or doctoral programs).
