Beasiswa Kemitraan Negara Berkembang, or popularly known as KNB Scholarship, is a prestigious scholarship program offered by the government of Republic of Indonesia to selected applicants originating from developing countries. Managed by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, the scholarship offers potential students to earn their Bachelor’s, Master’s at one of 23 prominent universities in Indonesia while experiencing life in the most culturally diverse nation in the world.

Eligibility:
- The maximum age to apply for the scholarship is 35 years old
- Applicant must hold a bachelor degree that is approved by respective Ministry of Education and Culture for (master degree holder is not eligible to apply)
- Applicant must have a minimum TOEFL IBT Score of 80 or IELTS score of 6.0 (or any other English Proficiency Tests with equivalent score)
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.25
- Applicant must complete the online application form at: http://knbscholarship.kemdikbud.go.id/
- Prior to the departure to Indonesia, the successful candidates must sign the Statement Letter and Scholarship Agreement prepared by the KNB Scholarship management
- Recommendation letter from the Indonesian Embassy in the respective country, issued in the same year as the application.
- Nomination letter from the respective government official (Ministry of Education, other related Government Agency – should the applicant works for the Government Agency, or Embassy of the Applicant’s Country of Origin in Indonesia)
- 2 academic recommendation letters
- Scanned valid passport (personal data page only)
- Scanned bachelor certificate and academic transcripts (in English)
- Scanned TOEFL score certificate (or any other English Proficiency Tests) obtained within the last 2 Years
- Scanned Official Medical Statement (Official Diagnose) prepared by a certified physician, issued in the same year of application.
How to Apply:
- Download the invitation letter (Available in the KNB Scholarship website)
- Submit the invitation letter, passport, academic certificates, and academic transcripts to the Indonesian Embassy to acquire the recommendation letter
- Complete the online application process
- Selection process
- Selection result announcement. The selection results will be announced online via the KNB Scholarship Website and officially announced through the Indonesian Embassy publication network
